Moonpennys

A logo was needed for this woman-owned small business. Moonpennys does floral designs for events and we set our sights on something that had a handmade, illustrative feel to it.

After conversations about what the look and feel ought to be, I set out on sketching. It felt like something that was moody, gentle, ethereal was the tone. The final logo ended up being a combination of the initial sketch with some additions. It was then a matter of rearranging elements and adding a sharp vector crescent moon to draw the eye. We then explored color options.
