murmurations

These pieces are presented in the order in which they were created. After completing the first, I felt that there were lots of things to explore in a second piece, and a third, and fourth... As I moved through each, I experimented with balancing textures, colors, mediums, and emotional resonance. They were created in a heavily transitional period—personally, culturally, politically, and each piece has a direct tie to any or all of these.
